AmeriTel Telephone Systems respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy explains how AmeriTel Telephone Systems collects, uses, stores, and protects information submitted through ameritelnj.com and through our business communications, including email, telephone calls, and text messages.
AmeriTel Telephone Systems is located at 450 Brick Blvd, Brick Township, NJ 08723.
Information We Collect
At this time, the primary personal information AmeriTel collects through this website is information voluntarily submitted through our contact and inquiry forms.
This information may include:
- Your name
- Business name
- Email address
- Telephone or mobile phone number
- Information you enter into the message or inquiry field
- Details about the services or products you are interested in
We may also retain records of communications between you and AmeriTel, including emails, telephone calls, and text-message conversations related to your inquiry, account, service, or request for information.
How We Use Your Information
AmeriTel uses the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about the products, services, or support you have requested.
Depending on the contact information you provide, AmeriTel may respond by:
- Telephone call
- Text message
We may also use your information to provide customer service, schedule appointments, discuss business phone systems or related services, follow up on an inquiry, provide requested estimates or information, and communicate with existing customers regarding their AmeriTel services.
Submitting a contact form authorizes AmeriTel to respond to the inquiry using the contact information you provide. Additional consent requirements may apply to recurring or promotional text messages, as described below.
Business Text Messaging
AmeriTel Telephone Systems may use SMS or MMS text messaging to communicate with customers and prospective customers who have provided a mobile telephone number and the appropriate consent.
Messages may include responses to inquiries, appointment or consultation information, service updates, account-related communications, customer-support messages, and other communications related to a person’s relationship with AmeriTel.
If you separately opt in to receive recurring or promotional text messages from AmeriTel:
- Message frequency may vary.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel text messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing products or services.
Consumers may revoke consent to receive text messages using reasonable methods. The FCC recognizes common reply terms such as STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE as valid methods of revoking consent in applicable circumstances.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
AmeriTel does not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in information, or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your mobile information and messaging consent may be provided only to service providers that help AmeriTel operate its communications systems, such as telecommunications carriers, messaging-platform providers, technical service providers, or other vendors acting on AmeriTel’s behalf. These providers may use the information only as needed to deliver or support AmeriTel’s services.
Current A2P 10DLC registration guidance specifically requires businesses to state that mobile information and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How We Share Information
AmeriTel does not sell your contact information.
AmeriTel does not provide your personal information to unrelated companies for their own marketing or promotional use.
We may disclose information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including website hosting, database services, email delivery, telecommunications, SMS delivery, technical support, or other services necessary to operate our business.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, or a valid request from a government authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect AmeriTel, our customers, or others from fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity.
Business Texting Services Provided to AmeriTel Customers
AmeriTel also offers business-texting capabilities as part of certain business communication services.
Businesses using those services are responsible for the personal information they collect from their own customers, patients, clients, or other recipients and for maintaining their own privacy policies, consent procedures, terms, and messaging practices.
AmeriTel customers using business texting should obtain appropriate consent before sending messages and follow applicable federal and state laws, carrier requirements, and messaging-industry rules.
For U.S. business messaging over standard 10-digit telephone numbers, A2P 10DLC registration generally requires businesses to register their brand and messaging campaign through an approved messaging provider. Campaign registration includes information about how customers opt in and opt out.
AmeriTel’s privacy policy does not replace the privacy policy, consent process, or legal obligations of an AmeriTel customer using business texting to communicate with that customer’s own contacts.
Data Storage and Security
AmeriTel takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
Information submitted through our contact forms may be stored in AmeriTel’s customer or contact database so we can respond to inquiries and maintain appropriate business records.
No internet transmission, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For that reason, AmeriTel cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
AmeriTel retains contact information and communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain customer relationships, meet business-record requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Information that is no longer needed may be deleted or securely disposed of according to our business practices.
Your Choices
You may contact AmeriTel at any time to:
- Ask us to update or correct your contact information.
- Request that we stop contacting you for marketing purposes.
- Ask questions about how your information is used.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP to an AmeriTel text message.
Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent AmeriTel from contacting you when reasonably necessary to provide requested services, respond to an active inquiry, or communicate about an existing customer account, subject to applicable law.
